3 days tracking safari in Uganda
Day 1:
Morning departure from Kampala for the south with stops at the craft village at the Uganda Equator for pictures and shopping. After lunch at the Lakeview Hotel in Mbarara, proceed through the beautiful evergreen mountain country referred to as the "Little Switzerland". Arrive late evening for dinner and overnight at campsite or lodge. Transit Time 8-10 hrs.
Day 2:i
Briefing by park ranger guides. Later with picnic lunch, start 30 minutes - 8 hours trek to find the Mountain gorilla. The tracking starts at the area where the gorilla were the previous day. After a full hour with the gorilla, return to your accommodations for dinner and overnight at campsite or lodge.
Day 3:
Transfer to Mbarara for lunch, Later depart for Kampala. Transit Time 8-10 hrs.

4 days 3 nights Gorilla tracking air safari Kidepo Valley National Park Uganda,
Day 1:
You will be transferred to Entebbe International Airport to board a chartered light aircraft to Kidepo. Arrive at Apoka Lodge. After lunch, enjoy panoramic views of the Narus River Valley and photographic opportunities of wildlife from the verandah of the lodge. An evening game drive along the Narus River Valley for game Viewing and photography of Elephants, herds of Buffaloes, Jackals, Jackson's Hartebeest, Klipspringer and possibly Lions. Dinner and overnight at Apoka Lodge.
Day 2 :
After an early breakfast, go for morning game drive to Kanangorok hot spring. A variety of animals can be seen roaming around including Ostrich. Return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon have a cultural experience that will bring into contact with Karamjong peoples at Karenna and Kapedo. Meet the local elders and have an opportunity to interact with them. They will show you the kraals, the grinding stones and many more interesting items. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 3
Another day to enjoy wildlife and African landscape in Kidepo. Full board accommodation in Apoka Lodge.
Day 4:
After
breakfast, visit the bird hide and enjoy a guided nature walk. Return to the lodge for lunch. After lunch board your chartered flight back to Entebbe. Airport pickup to return to Kampala late in the evening.

5 DAYS
Day 1:
Arrive Entebbe, met at the airport by our representative and Take a 5 hour road transfer to the Agip Motel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2:
Morning breakfast then take a 5 hour road transfer on a very good road to the edge of the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest Home to the Mountain Gorillas. In the evening, take to the Munyaga Trail to explore the Freshness of the Forest on a Nature walk along the River Munyaga. Dinner and overnight at the Bwindi Tented Camp.
Day 3:
After breakfast, report at the park offices for a briefing by the ranger guides prior to the trek to find the Mountain Gorillas with picnic lunch. The gorillas are tracked, located and after approximately one hour with them, return to base for a shower and cold drink. Dinner and overnight at Bwindi Tented Camp.
Day 4:
Travel to Kabale For Lunch at the Lake Bunyonyi where you could also take a Canoe ride to explore the many Islands. Later, depart for Mbarara arriving for dinner and night stay at the Agip Motel.
Day 5:
After morning breakfast transfer to Entebbe Aiport for your afternoon flight out.

6 DAYS
Day 1: KAMPALA
You will be met at the airport by our representative and transferred to the Hotel. Overnight at the Hotel.
Day 2: LAKE BUNYONYI -
Drive through the scenic countryside to Lake Bunyonyi with picnic lunch arriving in the early evening. L. Bunyonyi is an irregular shaped lake with a number of islands and surrounding hills. The area is great for boat trips on the lake. Dinner and overnight at the camp.
Day 3: BWINDI FOREST -
In the morning, a short hike or fishing and canoeing on the lake. In the afternoon a drive through beautiful mountain scenery to arrive at your camp on the edge of Bwindi Forest for the Night. Overnight at the Lodge.

Day 4: GORILLA TREKKING UGANDA
A full day trekking for gorilla. Gorillas are fairly used to human contact, they live in family sizes of six.
Return for late lunch at the Camp. Meals and overnight at the Camp.
Day 5: ENTEBBE UGANDA AIRPORT
Leave after breakfast and drive back to Entebbe with lunch en route. Overnight at the Hotel.
Day 6: DEPARTURE
Transfer for departure.

rules of tracking gorillas include:
- You have to be over 15 years of age
- You are not sich or have any infectious disease
- Only one hour is allowed with the gorillas and you have to keep a distance of at least 5 metres
- Maximum number of visitors per day is 6-12 people per group
- No flash photography is allowed
- Trekkers must be fit and well equipped, which includes warm clothing for the wet cool climate high in the mountains.
- No eating or drinking in the vicinity of the gorillas
- No touching the gorillas (although they may decide to touch you)
Tips:
Getting to see gorillas is not easy, nor are you guaranteed to see them.
The trek to where the gorilla live can last several hours you are advised to be patient.
Gorilla permit:
In Uganda it costs USD 500 per day per person for a gorilla permit. You can get the permits in Kampala (the capital of Uganda) at the Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA) headquarters. It is possible to make an international booking for permits using email direct with UWA but they do not accept credit cards so it gets a bit complicated. See their web site for more details.
In Rwanda you can get permits through the Rwanda Tourism Board offices (ORTPN) in Kigali or Ruhengeri (near the PNV). You can call (250) 576514 or 573396 or email at reservation@rwandatourism.com.
